Communication with Siemens S7

Hy people,
I can't and I don't know how to set parammeters in PROMOTIC SCADA for communication with S7. I set network address, Rack and CPU slot, but, what is missining?
Help me please!

Unfortunately it is not possible to provide detailed support for your problem, since your description is incomplete (unknown PLC type, network connection type, ..).

First I recommend you to study the PROMOTIC documentation and learn about S7 communication drivers and setings:

thank you on reply.
I've been reading almost whole documentation about that and do exactly what is in documentation. But nothing happend.
PLC is VIPA 313SC,
PROMOTIC SCADA version 8.2.17.

Communication protocol: PmS7(ethernet)-Protocol S7(PLC-Siemens Simatic,VIPA...)
Network connection type: Ethernet ISOonTCP Standard(for S7-300/400/1200...).

I'm making a mistake, but I do not know where...
