Communication with PLC devices by the Unitronics company

Basic information:
The Unitronics company (http://www.unitronics.com, Israel) supplies (free of charge) the OPC server for communication with their devices. This software is a part of the installation CD-ROM that is supplied with each unit by default.
Then the PROMOTIC application will communicate as a client by the OPC interface.
The usage OPC (the PmOpcUaClient communication driver or PmaOpcDaClient object) requires purchase of the "PmOPC" licence. When developing the application in the freeware mode PmFree, or with development environment and while testing it in runtime, this component is always functional.

The Unitronics device supports also the communication by the Modbus protocol.
For this communication in the PROMOTIC system can be used:

- PmModbusMr - Driver for communication by the Modbus Master protocol.
For easy integration of this driver into the application it is handy to use:

- Preconfiguration "PmModbusMr - Communication set with data and panel for non-defined device"
