Data binding LN - Linear function - configuration window
Description:
The data binding
LN provides the value change of the required configurator by the control variable. The control variable is in fact the x-coordinate of the point of the specified row (see "
Limit 1" and "
Limit 2" configurator) and the resulting value is the Y-coordinate of this point.
This data binding is obsolete (but functional) and it is better to use the "
E - General expression" data binding (see
Example6).
Data binding configurators:
Control variable | In this field a control variable must be defined that is usually linked to the next data binding (it can even be a constant). |
|
Limit 1 | X-coordinate of the 1st point of the linear function. |
Limit 2 | X-coordinate of the 2nd point of the linear function. |
---|
Note:
This data binding is also functional in
Web panels. The evaluation of the data binding does not need to communicate with the Web server (with the PROMOTIC application) - the evaluation is done on the client side (i.e. on the Web browser).
