Communication with the Desigo modules by the Siemens company

The Desigo modules are designed for controlling buildings. The list of possible communications follows:

- Communication by the BACnet protocol:
The Desigo modules can communicate by the BACnet/IP and BACnet/LON protocols.

- Communication by the Lonworks protocol:
The Desigo modules can communicate by the Lonworks protocol.

- Communication via the extension modules:
It is possible to insert some extension modules into the Desigo modules (e.g. the PXA30-RS module), that allow to communicate by the Modbus or M-BUS protocols. For these protocols, the PROMOTIC system has its own drivers. See:
