Communication with Mitsubishi PLC devices

In the PROMOTIC system there are available two communication drivers via serial link with Mitsubishi PLC devices:

1st PmMelsecFXS - Driver for communication with Mitsubishi PLC devices of the FX series.
For easy integration of this driver into the application it is handy to use:
- Preconfiguration "PmMelsecFXS - PLC Mitsubishi - Communication set with data and panel"


2nd PmMelsecQA - Driver for communication with Mitsubishi PLC devices of the Q/A/L/iQ-R/iQ-F series. This driver also can be used for PLC devices of the FX series, if equipped with the extension communication module.
For easy integration of this driver into the application it is handy to use:
- Preconfiguration "PmMelsecQA - PLC Mitsubishi - Communication set with data and panel"


For both drivers, there is a common licence PmMelsec. When developing the application in the freeware mode PmFree, or with development environment and while testing it in runtime, this component is always functional.

For communication of the PROMOTIC application can be used the OPC server - see Communication by OPC interface.
Then the PROMOTIC application will communicate as a client by the OPC interface.
