Communication with meters and regulators by the JUMO company

The JUMO GmbHL company (Germany, http://www.jumo.net) supplies a wide variety of meters with regulation (e.g. dTRON 304, dTRON 308, dTRON 316 or IMAGO 500) and additional choice of sensors, converters and meters.

Communication by the Modbus protocol

The devices include the RS422 or RS485 communication interface. In order to connect the devices via the computer's serial port, it is necessary to use a RS485/RS232 converter. The interface electrical scheme is included in the manufacturer´s documentation and we recommend consulting the choice of the converter with the provider of the device. The devices communicate by the Modbus RTU protocol.

For this communication in the PROMOTIC system can be used:
- PmModbusMr - Driver for communication by the Modbus Master protocol.
For easy integration of this driver into the application it is handy to use:
